MEET THE TEAM
Ben McPeak
Ben McPeak draws from over 14 years experience in corporate aviation, spent overseeing transactions and consulting in both the domestic and international markets. Prior to joining the world of aviation, Ben held the position of Senior Vice President for a leading Global Wealth Management Group within US Trust. In this role he focused on providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to ultra high net worth individuals and families, with an emphasis on lending, investment planning, legacy and philanthropy issues, as well as complex tax strategies. He brings the same breadth of knowledge and comprehensive planning into every one of his aircraft transactions. Ben is also an active member of NBAA, AOPA and CJP. When he isn’t working, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children.

Jay Vidlak
Jay has been around aviation his entire life, with both his grandfather and father being avid recreational pilots. After graduating in 1998 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Jay began his professional career in Aviation with Mayo Aviation in Denver, CO where he quickly moved through the ranks. In 2002 he returned to his home state of Nebraska to begin his career with Jet Linx Aviation, which spanned more than two decades, focusing on charter, business development, Aircraft Management and most recently, SVP of Aircraft Acquisitions and Sales. He remained in that role until 2023 when he transitioned over to Vertical Jets Sales where his wealth of knowledge of the industry are indispensable.
Jay currently resides in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife Erin, and two little girls, Piper and Logan.

Steven Nix
Nix has spent the majority of his life in Nashville, TN pursuing multiple entrepreneurial endeavors. His degree in Marketing from MTSU served him well throughout different fields, ranging from the music industry to medical sales at Cardinal Health. He specializes in people and maintaining client relationships. He is not only new to the team at Vertical Jet Sales, but to San Antonio, TX as well. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and his golden doodle, Merle.

Eric Lenington
Eric brings a wealth of experience and a keen eye for detail to our team. With over 15 years of expertise in photography, graphic design, and social media, he has a proven track record of delivering visually stunning and strategically impactful media. A life long aviation enthusiast, Eric has enjoyed capturing aircraft nationwide, blending his passion for aviation with professional marketing skills. In his off time, he enjoys flying his (simulated) F-18C from CVN-75 Harry S. Truman.

Shayne Palowski
Shayne grew up in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in South Texas and has recently joined the Vertical Jet Sales team as the lead Executive Assistant. In this role she is responsible for managing and overseeing the day to day office operations as well as assisting with client relationships and business development projects. Before joining the Vertical Jet Sales team, she was a lead medical marketing and coordinating specialist. She enjoys fishing in her off time as well as traveling and spending time with her family, including her two dogs, Nugget and Groot.
